REMINDER

Dear Educators,

Please circulate this to all your history, aboriginal studies, law, and social studies teachers throughout your various schools

This year marks the 48th year of the production of, “The Trial of Louis Riel”, written by playwright John Coulter, which began as a Centennial project in 1967 by the Regina Chamber of Commerce for the City of Regina. The production is North America’s longest running dramatic theatrical production. The play is based on the actual transcripts of the famous trial of Louis Riel in Regina in 1885.

Every year we perform one week of special shows for all of the schools in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. These will be performed this year October 20, 21, 22, & 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Theatre of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina, SK.

2015 marks the 48th year of this important historical story, which has relevance for all Canadians.

We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to experience and enjoy this year’s production. Please find attached invitation and information.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Champagne
