We will make two blocks incorporating all three techniques in each block. This class requires a sewing machine with an adjustable zigzag stitch.

$55 / Norma R / The Stargello pattern is a "BEAUTIFUL" 10 pointed star pattern that is easy to follow and perfect for Advanced Beginners. Norma will show you how to make this fantastic twisted star without paper piecing and using a strip method along with the using Jewel Box Gems Ten and Thirty templates. The pattern can be made into an Octagon Shape or Square Quilt. Fabric pre-cutting is required.

Aug 20 / Stab Stitching Quilting / 10 A-3P / All Levels / Sue G / Join Sue Garman as she visits our shop for three fun filled days of classes. The first will be a stab stitching, (versus a running stitch), quilting class. This is hand quilting where you use a needle with the eye in the middle to achieve even stitches by “stabbing” through the layers of fabric. Your dominant hand will be underneath your quilt sandwich and you will learn to quilt in any direction! Details for this class will be sent out by email in May.

Please purchase all materials for your class ahead of time. We would appreciate you purchasing them from our shop.

Please arrive at class fifteen minutes early to allow time for setup.

If you are interested in a class and are unable to attend just find a friend or a group of friends and LSQW will schedule a time with the teacher so you may take the class.
