The Whitgift Foundation is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Due to the nature of the work of the Whitgift Foundation, applicants will be required to comply with all safeguarding procedures including undertaking a criminal records Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check where the job role requires it. You will be required to discloseany cautions, convictions, reprimands or final warnings that are not “protected” by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013) by SL 2013 1198. Failure to comply with this requirement may disqualify you from employment or may result in summary dismissal by the Whitgift Foundation once employment has commenced.
