Plastic Bottle Recycling Banks
The following document summarises the existing plastic bottle banks sites, as well as those potential sites being investigated and those sites investigated, but where found unsuitable.
It is planned to increase the current network from 38 sites to 45, by the end of March 2008. This will then be reviewed, to see if further or fewer sites are required in the future.

Unsuitable Sites
Sites were found unsuitable for three main reasons:
1: There was no room on site for a bank
2: The vehicle that empty the banks could not access the site.
3: The suggested site was too close to an existing site
There were also a few sites that were found to be suitable but the land owner did not want the facility on his/ her site.
