23.06.17 / 17/01119/FUL / 14.07.17 / Gable Cottage Green Lane FC – part single part two storey side and rear extensions inc rear dormer with Juliette balcony / BM/RH / 06.07.17 / This is a three storey extension development not part single and part 2 storey, which shows six bedrooms but suggests only 5 as on the plan two bedrooms are marked as No 5.Concern/objection that two large balconies are proposed on the first floor to the rear (these should be no more than Juliette balconies) and a Juliette balcony is proposed for the second floor bedroom (a standard window or possibly dormer window would be more appropriate here). These balconies will adversely affect the amenity of the neighbours especially those to the north in Beeches Road.

10.07.17 / 17/01230/FUL / 31.07.17 / 3 Long Close FR – porch part two part single storey side extension and single storey rear extension. Formation of driveway parking area and vehicular access. / CR/MR / 24.07.17 / The house to the north (no.4) has a window facing the rear northern part of the rear extension and, especially if a bedroom, will suffer loss of light (right to light for over 20 years - the houses were originally built in 1995)
Since the vehicular entrance changes location, will need a new droppedkerb (a separate application required).
There are only two off-road parking spaces on the plan which is inadequate for the size of house.

12.07.17 / 17/01266/FUL / 02.08.17 / Lantern Cottage Collinswood Road FC – vehicular access and assoc hardstanding / PR/RH
19/07/17 / 17/01292/FUL / 09.08.17 / Land rear of Honey Cottage, Green Lane FC – redevelopment to provide a terrace of 3 dwellings with associated car parking and amenity space / TC/BM / 20.07.17 / 1We reiterate our comments on the previous application and similarly object to this one
2We do not believe that the proposed changes are material and therefore a variation or amendment as is stated on the application . The application needs to be treated in tis entirety.
3You are aware of the very serious drainage issues that have arisen as a result of developments in Beeches Road we believe that these proposals will have a similar impact on the local drainage infrastructure.
4You are aware of the disruption that construction traffic for the Scopello development has caused and the matter is now before the Local Police. We have previously requested that you impose a condition requiring a CMP to be provided, approved and enforced. This is very important given the limited access to this site and something that DC is entirely able to impose.
5The suggestion that access to a residence should be made via a public car park is nonsensical. The Car park has been identified by the District Council as one that has development potential. It seems that the DC might not be approaching this with any co-ordination which will frustrate the District and Parish Councils aspirations for this area.
