- Prevention- J. Acevedo stated that prevention has not yet met. There is a meeting after RHAC to look at the social media grant. The prevention committee has been discussing billing for testing prevention services, this is something that Marlene has eluted too when she was here last year. The prevention committee decided to ask our HAPC to facilitate bringing this system to our area, so an expert can show us how to bill for services. There are small agencies in Area 8 that currently do not have the capacity to bill for testing. This is an opportunity to give them that chance and they can look at their infrastructure and decide weather they have the capacity to bill. V. Clarke has called upon AETC to come in and do a technical assistance training billing for services; no date has been decided yet. P. Brown stated that health HIV has done many billing symposiums around the state and has the curriculum put together. Maybe they have something set already in our area.
