Frequently Asked Questions

What is the deal?

We figured that after racing all day (for 3 days) you wouldn’t have a thing to do at night. So instead of lights out at 8:30 we had an idea – since we are seeing who is the best of the best on the big track, why not throw down on the Supercross track with the minis. Saturday and Sunday nights, under the lights, we are holding the Pit Bike Championships!

What are the classes?

12-15 Open – ages 12-15 – any legal size bike (see below)

16-24 Open – ages 16-24 – any legal size bike (see below)

25+ Open – ages 25-99 – any legal size bike (see below)

200lb Open – ok fat boys, this is your class – anyone 200lbs or more

- riders on 49cc bikes must be greater than 180lbs

stock – anything 49cc, 10 inch wheels

mod – 50-89cc, up to 12 inch wheels

unlimited – 90+, up to 12 inch wheels

What bikes are allowed to race?

All bikes must be 4 strokes. Any Honda 50, KLX 110, or DRZ 110 are allowed, TTR 50s and 90s allowed, Extreme 107s are allowed – basically use your common sense – if it is a pit bike – 10 or 12 inch wheels you are good. No XR 80s, 100s, etc – big bikes race during the day across the street.

What are the entry fees?

My mommy will only let me go out one night this week - $25 a class (Sat or Sun only)

Hook a brotha up – I am in for the whole deal - $30 a class (Sat and Sun)

No refunds eva!

Can I ride in the pits?

No and I should slap you for asking. Honestly, please don’t be that guy. Walk your bike (yes the whole way) until you are on the track - thanks for your cooperation. We need to police ourselves or we won’t be asked back.

Can I bring my girlfriend?

Yes, please do. Does she have friends and are they good looking?

What is the format?

2 nights of racing: practice + 2 motos per class each night. Overall results are combined over Saturday and Sunday nights. Prizes awarded Sunday night. Special note – all 49cc bikes will have first choice of gate pick and will start in the front row of all open classes.

Are there prizes?

What are you 12? Does that really matter? Yes of course there are prizes, and we hook you up!

What time are sign ups?

The Supercross side will open at 4pm. Sign up at 6pm, Supercross side. Practice is 7pm and racing starts promptly at 7:30

But what do I do if my big motos are at the end of the day? (boo-hoo)

The SX side opens at 4pm – get over there early and sign up. Let us know then if you have a late day moto and we will do all that we can to wait for you – but if you slack we will beat you up. Try and have a buddy bring your bike over by 6pm so we can stage you.

How much time will I get to practice?

A whole bunch

How many laps will I get?

Depends how fast you are. We are still figuring that part out – all depends on who shows up – don’t worry your pretty little head about it – you will have fun and like what we give you Mr.

What do I have gear to I have to have?

Dress for the crash – period. That said you must have a helmet, goggles, gloves, and over the ankle boots (not necessarily mx boots), but I would highly suggest elbow guards, knee/shin guards, a mouth piece, chest protector and a suit of armor wouldn’t hurt…

If I am under 18 do I need my parents there?

What do you think – yes of course! No parent, no entry, no excuses

Is this real?

No – it is pit bike racing. If you are not having a good time you will be excused and asked to go back to work in your office and suffer.
