From April 2017fees are£10.25 per 3 hour session with a £2.40 ‘link’ charge should you wish to do all day sessions (total £22.90 for a 6 ½ hour day). From the term following your child’s 3rd birthday, he or she will be eligible for up to 15 hours of free Government funded early years sessions. You may use this funding at Pippins and can also split the funding with another Pre-School or Nursery.The government does provide funding for some children from the age of two if you meet certain criteria but you would have to apply for this, it isn’t done through Pippins. Children may take up to 10 sessions per week, however all sessions are subject to availability. You can have either mornings, afternoons, all days or a mixture of sessions. We ask that your child attends on at least two days a week, so a minimum of either two sessions for half days or three sessions if you are having a full day.
Session Times:
Morning Sessions will run from 8.30am to 11.30am
Afternoon Sessions will run from 12pm to 3pm and will start with lunch (packed lunch or cooked school meal at a current cost of £2.29).
All day Sessions run from 8.30am to 3.00pm
Session Requirements:
Pippins Pre-School can be oversubscribed and so we ask you to complete your application as soon as possible as this allows us to allocate your preferred sessions. We will contact you no later than the term before your proposed start date to confirm sessions.
You can put down either morning sessions, afternoon sessions, all days or a mixture. The minimum requirement is that your child attends for two days per week (either a minimum of two sessions a week for half days or three sessions a week if including a full day). The maximum you can do is five full days per week/ten sessions.
From September 2017 we will be offering out of hours care in the form of a breakfast club and after school facility. If you would like to know more about the options available please contact Pippins.
