6:55 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the area of W. Main St. at Center St. for a car vs. pedestrian accident. The officers issued 27 year old Jennifer A. Grissom, Burlington, a citation for failure to yield right of way to a pedestrian and was released. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
3:17 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop on W. Main St. at Center St. The driver, 40 year old David A. Creighton, Lake Geneva, was issued a citation for operating after suspension and released.
10/19/17
1:11 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop on Edwards Blvd. at Sheridan Springs Rd. The driver, 24 year old Hailey R. Swank, Lake Geneva, was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance and released.

4:38 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop on Center St. at Dodge St. The driver, 42 year old Tonya E. Miller, Delavan, was issued a citation for operating after suspended registration and released.

2:42 a.m.: Officers responded to Wrigley Dr. at Broad St. for a welfare check. Subsequently charges were referred to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office on 35 year old Joshua Brian Bergman, Lake Geneva, for bail jumping.
Incidents from Previous Weeks
10/01/17 – 11:58 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Edwards Blvd. for a report of retail theft. Consequently citations were issued to two 14 year old males, Lake Geneva, for retail theft.
10/04/17 – 1:39 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 120 at W. Main St. The driver, 31 year old Joseph Dale Shaffer, Sharon, was issued a citation for operating after suspension and released.
10/08/17 – 10:20 a.m.: Officers responded to a traffic accident in the 900 block of Wisconsin St. Consequently citations were issued to the driver, 39 year old Mirjana Petrovich, Lake Geneva, for hit and run-attended vehicle and disorderly conduct.
5:30 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Center St. for a motorcycle vs. car accident. The driver of the motorcycle, 20 year old Erik Thomas Stelter, Lake Geneva, was taken into custody and issued citations for operating while under the influence – first offense, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and automobile following too closely. He was later released to a responsible party.
10/14/17 – 2:37 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop on Center St. at W. Main St. The driver, 31 year old Jerry Paul Derose, McHenry, Illinois, was issued a citation for operating while under the influence-2nd offense.
