PIONEERS ATTENDING “CALDWELL DAYS OF ‘83 DINNER”
Old timers of the Caldwell area of Canyon County held a grand reunion at the IOOF Temple on May 8th - but no one thought to record the year. However, Anderson Cox was 89 years old at this time, and since he was born 1859 September 2, then it must have been held about 1948, or something like that. The dinner of baked ham, baked potatoes, buttered peas, celery and carrot sticks, coffee, ice cream and cup cakes was followed by stunts, music, songs and speeches.
