Getting to Glasgow
By Air
Glasgow is served by two airports: Glasgow (International) & Prestwick Airport. Frequent links to the city are available at both sites, but Glasgow Airport is the more local.
Google informs me that there are 32 flights per day from London, 7 from Birmingham, 3 from Bristol, 6 from Southampton and 1 from Exeter amongst other places…
Taxis
Taxis are available at the exit to the airport. Pre-booking can save on costs.
Buses
Multiple buses serve the airport.
Glasgow Airport Express - This is a regular service to the city centre, from where you can access taxis, underground and bus services all around Glasgow.
First Glasgow Airport Express service 500-directtoGlasgow City Centre 24 hours per day from Stance 1.
First 77 Hospital Connect - Glasgow City Centre (via Renfrew, Braehead shopping centre,South Glasgow University Hospital and Partick) from Stance 6.
Edinburgh Airport is approx. one hour from Glasgow, also with good transport links.
By Land
Train
Glasgow Central Station links Glasgow to all UK Cities, also in the city centre, Queen Street operates routes mainly to Central & Northern Scotland. The following companies have services to Glasgow Central:

Even if joining us from Belfast, it’s probably easier & cheaper to fly.

Bus
The nearest bus stop is on Dumbarton Road, (just a few minutes’ walk). From Glasgow city centre you can take the First Glasgow Bus No’s: 6, 1, 1A, 1B. Please note that the number 62 takes you only as far as Clydebank bus terminal. The no 6 bus can be caught from near Dalmuir Train Station.

Dalmuir train station (services from Queen St or Central) is a 10-minute walk

City Centre
