RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. All riders must report to the start and finish on completion of the ride.
2. Riders retiring early must inform one of the stewards stationed on the course.
3. Good riding manners are requested at all times. Please be cautious when overtakingothers as they may be novice riders, or on young horses.
4. Hard hats and suitable footwear must be worn at all times.
5. Horses to start between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm. Riders are to be in pairs or groups.
6. This ride is only suitable for riders experienced enough to ride across open country and jump small obstacles where they wish to do so. There is no lower age limit forriders, but children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Horses and ponies mustbe 4 years and over.
7. Entry fees:-
Adults- £20.00 Received by Wednesday 3 June
£25.00 After3 June, and on the day
Children. £15.00 Received by Wednesday 3 June
£20.00 After3 June, and on the day
Children. aged 16 and under on the date of ride.
Cheques to be made payable to the 'Avon Vale Hunt.'
8. Neither the landowners nor the organisers nor anyone acting on their behalf accept
responsibility for loss, damage accident, illness or injury to ponies, horses, riders and
spectators or their property. It is a condition of entry that each rider shall hold the
landowners and organisers harmless and that he/she shall be deemed to indemnify theaforesaid against any legal proceedings, expenses or damages whatsoever arising from any incident. Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and stewards.
Support Cover First Aid support will be present. No farrier will be present on the day; a vet will be on call and you are asked to bring your own water and not leave horsedroppings or straw when you leave the parking area
