Position the phone so the ear piece of the phone is at the top. Turn the handset around so the back is facing you.

The pressure point of the battery cover is located below the speaker grill on the back of the phone. The edge of the cover is identifiable by a central dip on the back of the handset. Press this pressure point and slide the cover down.

The battery pack is loose inside. On the battery, there are 2 wires (close together) with a connector on the end. The socket for the connector to be inserted into is located as follows. At the base of the handset on the back is a ridge. On the battery compartment side of the ridge, off centre to the right is the socket. The socket is positioned in a portrait position.
