Philosophy and Approach: I believe each person has strengths and challenges. I’ll work with you to help you uncover your strengths and use them to minimize your challenges. My approach is integrated, utilizing methods which develop mental, emotional and physical abilities. I utilize cognitive-behavioral and developmental frameworks in helping you to reach your goals.

Formal Education & Training: I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. My coursework included studies in human growth and development, child and adolescent therapies and family therapy. I also hold a current Oregon Teaching License and taught 15 years in middle and high school as a Special Education & Alternative Education teacher.

As a Registered Intern of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors & Therapists, I will abide by its Code of Ethics. I am under the ongoing supervision of Steven Berman, LCSW.You may contact him at 503-238-5899.

To be informed of the cost of professional services before receiving the services:
To be assured of privacy and confidentiality while receiving services as defined by rule and law, including the following exceptions: 1) Reporting suspected child abuse; 2) Reporting imminent danger to client or others; 3) Reporting information required in court proceedings or by client’s insurance company, or other relevant agencies; 4) Providing information concerning licensee case consultation or supervision; and 5) Defending claims brought by client against licensee;

Fees: My fee is $80 per 55 minute session.
