PG Certificate, PG Diploma and MA in Theological Education

(effective from the Autumn 2015 intake)

Course Structure

Students registered for the PG Certificate study two 30 credit modules. Students aiming to receive the PG Diploma study a further two 30 credit modules and students intending to achieve the MA qualification will in addition need to complete the 60 credit dissertation module. Students can progress from Certificate through Diploma to the MA.

Tuition Fees

Students are charged per module.

30 Credit modules £ 1,025

60 Credit modules£ 2,050

Therefore, at 2015/16 rates the tuition fees for the Certificate will be £2,050. For the Diploma a further £2,050and to complete the MA the total tuition fees would be £6,150.

University Registration Fees

In addition students are required to pay Middlesex University Registration fee.

First year of studies£ 700

Third year of studies(no fee)

Application Fees

Application fees are payable by all applicants at the point of application. These rates relate to those who apply during 2015/2016.

New Students requiring "Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies." (CAS) for Visa purposes*£43

New Students (not requiring Visa). £30

Where students require a second CAS a further fee of £10 will be charged.

Existing students applying for a further course (not requiring Visa)£25

* You will need to enquire in your country whether you will need a Visa to enter the UK for the one-week intensive sessions.

Notes on Fees

Tuition Deposit: For students applying to commence in 15/16: £800. Payable to secure a place at the School but deducted from the first Semesters fees (non refundable after the course start date, or after registration with the University). Payable on confirmation of acceptance to the course.

Tuition Fees: The Tuition fee covers the tuition provided on all modules.

University Registration Fees: The Registration Fees are set by Middlesex University and are paid over by LST to the University. These charges are invoiced in the first two years of study only. University Registration Fees cannot be refunded.

Terms of Payment:Course Fees (except for University Registration fees) are payable by semester in advance. Registration fees are invoiced in the first semester of the first year of study. If you withdraw from your course during the year, full fees will be due for the semester for which you are registered.
