The Petersburg Motor Pool Department is accepting sealed bids for the following pieces of surplus equipment. The bids will be opened publicly at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 22nd, at the Public Works Office located at 303 South Second Street.
All properties, goods and equipment are sold as is without warranty or presentation as to condition or fitness for a particular or specific purpose.
All bids must be sealed and contain the bidders name, address, phone number, the bid amount and the item being bid on. The outside of the envelope must be marked “Motor Pool Bid”. Bids may be submitted in person at the Public Works office, 303 S 2nd St., or mailed to:

Faxed bids will not be accepted. No bids will be accepted after 1:00 pm on May 22nd, 2015.
Payment for equipment is due within one week of notification of winning bid. If the winning bidder fails to make payment, the next highest bidder will be awarded the bid.

Item #1 1996 Ford Clubwagon - 15 Passenger van, Automatic, 98,608 miles, good tires. Maintenance records available. This unit is in fair condition.

Item #2 1980 Chevy Ambulance – Four wheel drive, dual rear tires, automatic transmission, 454 c.i.V8 engine. Most recently in service by Petersburg Search and Rescue. 11,666 miles. Comes with summer tires and winter tires. This unit is in good condition. Engine runs rough.

Item #3 Used skate park equipment. These are approximately 8 years old. Three pieces. Assembly will be required – no directions included. Sold as is, where is. The Borough assumes no responsibility for the condition, safety and/or future use of these skateboard ramps.

Item #4 High Bay Lights. 250 watt garage/warehouse lights. 9 lights total. Accepts multiple voltage input (120/208/240/277) depending on your building’s power. Bulbs still good. Four units have hanging clips, a twist lock plug and no diffuser lens. Five units have hanging clips and diffuser lenses. Offer a bid per fixture and clearly state how many fixtures you wish to bid on.

Item #5 SnowEx brand pickup sander attachment. Plastic body. Electric auger and spinner. In cab controls. Approximately 1.5 to 2 cubic yard capacity.
