Parent TeacherStudent Association The Peters Township PTSA is a great way for teachers to communicate with parents and students. With increased communication and awareness, our high school environment will improve. Be a voice in the PTSA ! You can serve our high school community by using your talents to guide students in writing, design, organization, and communication. The PTSA makes decisions that affect our high school and you can become a part of that through committees and events.

The PTHS PTSA offers our its students and their families a wide array of services, programs,and support including:

•Informative monthly meetings with special reports from the principal, guidance, and teachers

•Monthly newsletters emailed to all homes

•Spirit Week (hallway decorating contest during Homecoming Week)

•Student Citizen of the Month

•Open House Refreshments

•In Memoriam donations to the library

•Reflections Cultural Arts contest

•Scholarships for seniors

•District Wide Directory

•Welcome Back Night Social

•Senior Class Breakfast

•Ambassador program for new students

•Library volunteer support

•Teachers Wall of Fame at Open House

•Red Carpet event for Prom

•Home Concessions at Varsity Football Games

The PTHS PTSA has supported the faculty by providing:

•Grants to teachers for classroom and/or curriculum needs

•Grants to each class and to Student Council for school spirit events

•Elaborate Teacher Breakfast in November

•Soup and Salad Luncheon in February

•Teacher Appreciation in May

•2011 Donation of 8 document cameras for academic classroom use

•Organizational support for the student lead Spring Carnival 2011

Help us support our school by joining the PTSA and contributing to the Program Fund. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sell! The PTSA will rely on the Program Fund as a major source of funding. PTSA membership is $8 per parent/teacher and $5.50 per student. A voluntary, tax-deductible contribution of $20* to the Program Fund allows the PTSA to continue to provide valuable programs.
