The Routes
3K Route
Starting at the Lifeboat Station, West Pier (beside Dolphin Café) the route takes you Northwards along the Seagate past the harbour andRoanheads and down onto the esplanade by Gadle Braes towards the River Ugie Estuary as far a George Road, at that point you turn and retrace the route back and finish at the Lifeboat Station.
5K Route
Starting at the Lifeboat Station, West Pier (beside Dolphin Café) the route takes you Northwards along the Seagate past the harbour and Roanheads and down onto the esplanade by Gadle Braes passed Buchanhaven towards the River Ugie Estuary as far a Golf Road and the old smoke house (Water point location), at that point you turn and retrace the route back and finish at the Lifeboat Station.
10K Route
Starting at the Lifeboat Station, West Pier (beside Dolphin Café) the route takes you Northwards along the Seagate past the harbour and Roanheads and down onto the esplanade by Gadle Braes passed Buchanhaven towards the River Ugie Estuary past the old smoke house (Water point location), then onwards, past Birnie Bridge along the footpath up onto the North Road track, along the North Road towards the Waterside Inn and onto the Peterhead By-pass side road then Eastward as far as 5K point (Water point location), at that point you turn and retrace the route back and finish at the Lifeboat Station.
Lifeboat Station
The Lifeboat Station and Lifeboat will be open for the duration of the registration; the Dolphin Cafe will be openserving the refreshmentsof soup (with bread) tea and coffee (free for all participants) which are to be provided by Lifeboat Fundraising Committee members.
Parking
Ample Parking is available at Peterhead Fish Market; please enter from the west side (entrance nearest Freshcatch)
Toilets
Toilets will be available at the Dolphin Cafe and Fish Market.
Entrants
The Peterhead Lifeboat Fun Run is open to all ages and can be walked, jogged or run; however, under 18’s must have the registration form signed by an adult and under 14’s need to be accompanied by and adult.
Entry
Fees – Suggested donations of: £5 - 3K Run, £7.50 - 5K Run, £10 - 10K Run, however, other donations would be greatly appreciated.
Registration
Registration will be open from 1200 to 1320, with the first race starting at 1330
You can download the entry form from , this should be completed and taken along with your payment on the day, alternatively, entry forms will be available during the registration period on the day of the race.
Route and on the Day Information
On receiving their number each runner must display it at all times during the fun run.
Full Marshall support will be available along the route and water points at the 2.5K and 5K marker points.
Participant Information
All participants will receive a medal, bottle of water and refreshments (soup with bread), tea and coffee or juice on completion of the run.
