CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS:

The date of this will be announced in advance, but it is expected to be held in September, with a number of events split over a Saturday and a week-night. This is an opportunity for club members of all ages to take part and compete in a range of track and field events.

PETERHEAD 10K RACE.

The usual date for this event is the second Sunday in November. It provides an opportunity for seniors to be involved in the staging of an event, as well as a good opportunity for those who want to compete on home turf. This event is the major fund raising event for the club in the year.

LONDON MARATHON

As an affiliated Athletics Club, PAC benefits from a place in the London Marathon. This means one club member will be able to obtain a place without going through the draw. The member will however be responsible for any costs involved, including the entry fee. The place will be decided by ballot, open to all paid up club members at the time of the AGM. If the winner of the ballot cannot take part that year it will pass to a reserve (2nd in the ballot). In such circumstances it will not be possible to defer the ‘club place’ to the following year, but the ballot can be entered each year.
