Established in 1983 by Fr Peter McVerry we are a charity that works with homeless youths, primarily in the Dublin region. We provide a wide range of services in the areas of prevention, housing, homelessness, under 18s residential and drug treatment.

Our Mission: Peter McVerry Trust is committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage through the principles of a Housing First model. Peter McVerry Trust provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger persons with complex needs, which offer pathways out of homelessness within a framework of equal opportunities.

Peter McVerry Trust currently employs approximately 200 core staff and this is continuously increasing. Our employees work in a wide range of areas which include: U-18’s Residential Services, Housing Services, Homeless Services, Drug Treatment Services, Fundraising, Finance, HR, etc. Our backgrounds and education span from Social Care to Marketing and Nursing to Social Sciences and Arts.
