A 38 year old male has been identified as responsible for the theft of ladders on Thursday 3rd March, from premises in Westerloan, Milnathort. He has been charged with the offence and will appear at court in due course.

A 22 year old man is to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal having been identified as responsible for entering a number of properties within Kinross with the intention of stealing.

An attempt was made to break into Reminisce coffee Shop, High Street, Kinross some time between 12.30pm on Monday 7th March and 8.45am on Tuesday 8th March.

A bike has been stolen from a storage area in Milne Court Perth, between Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th March. Between 8.30pm and 9pm on Monday 7th March a bike was stolen from outside Morning Noon & Night, Balhousie Street, Perth. The bike is quite distinctive, a black frame with the front wheel having a yellow rim.

A silver 53 plate registered Vauxhall Astra was removed from Tulloch Hill Perth between 2.30am and 3.30am on Saturday 5th March. The vehicle was later discovered, fire damaged, nearby. Anyone who observed the driver of the vehicle between these times or who has information in relation to this incident is asked to contact 101.

A wallet and contents were stolen when a house in Tullylumb Terrace, Perth was broken into on Sunday 6th March, between 3am and 7am.

A quantity of cash was stolen from City Buffet, South Street Perth between 9.30pm on Sunday 6 March and 10.30am on Monday 7 March. During this time Shanghai take away and Maza restaurant were broken into and cash stolen. Nearby, in High Street Perth a flat was broken into between Friday 4th March and Monday 7th March, nothing was stolen during this incident.

In Coupar Angus over the weekend of Friday 4th March to Monday 7th March a works yard in Victoria Street was entered and fuel stolen from a diesel tank.

Overnight between 7pm on Monday 7th and 7am on Tuesday 8th March the coach depot in Woodside was entered and diesel siphoned from vehicles parked within the yard.

In Alyth a white, 9’ long x 5’ wide x 7 high, Lynton flatbed trailer was stolen from Mill Street between mid day and 5pm on Wednesday 9th March.

Copper pipes and fittings were stolen from a construction site in Gowans Terrace Perth between Monday 7th March at 4.30pm and Tuesday 8th March at 8.30am. A significant amount of damage was caused during this crime.

A white Vauxhall Antara suffered damage to panels whilst parked in Vasart Court Perth, during Monday 7th March.

A Hilti cordless hammer and Dewalt cordless drill were stolen from commercial premises in Whitefriars Street Perth between 3.30pm and 4.10pm on Monday 7 March.

Entry was forced to a Toyota Hilux and tools stolen while it was parked at the Bein Inn, Glenfarg between Monday 7th March and Tuesday 8th March.

The Filling station at Almondbank has been targeted around 9.10pm on Saturday 5th March when the cash box on the jet wash was forced open. A small amount of money was stolen.

A charity tin was stolen from Fossoway Stores, Crook of Devon around 1.30pm on Tuesday 8 March. Anyone who saw 2 eastern European females or anyone who observed a black Mercedes motor car, possibly with Irish number plates, is asked to contact Police on 101.

A shed at Upper Cleuch, Glendevon was entered and gardening equipment stolen, some time between Friday 1st and Saturday 5th March.

Several hens have been stolen from a farm in Calvine, Pitlochry. The birds were taken between 6pm on Wednesday 2nd and 6pm on Thursday 3rd March. The hens, known as “handsome” hens are young and have a green ring applied to their left leg. Anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of these hens is asked to contact Police on 101 or Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.

A house in Birnam was broken into between Thursday 3rd March and Wednesday 9th March.
