Personal Statement for Remya Nair

It is my privilege to put my candidature for the Quantity Surveyor Position in your organzation. I have been fortunate in my career to have had chance to work with Subcontractor, Main Contractor & Consultant.

I studied from Technical Board of Kerala, India with a Diploma in Civil Engineering, PassedGraduate Programme in Quantity Surveying from NICMAR University, India and currently pursuing Post Graduation(M.Sc.) in Quantity Surveyingfrom Heriott Watt University, Dubaicampus (2013-15 batch- First Semester completed with 67%).

My career started in a Joinery firm specializing in ‘Estimation disciplines’.I came to UAE in 2002 and have started my career as an Estimator in 2004. During the last 9 years I have developed my career while working with Various Sub Contractors, Main Contractor & Consultant.

My previous roles as an Quantity Surveyor in Arabtec Constructions have permitted me to expand my experience in Quantity Surveying in high rise towers a multi disciplinary team has strengthened my skills in the academic, professional and leading capabilities.

I believe energetic environments allow me to operate at my best. I love the challenge of being kept on my toes, and the ability for a role to permit this is important to me.

An 82 Story and 310 Meter high with 127,000 Sq. Mtr. built-up area High rise residential building having 564 apartments is an perfect example of an Architectural Brilliance. The building having all modern features including Outdoor leisure deck with temperature controlled swimming pool, Gymnasium, Sauna & Steam Room, Game Room, Children’s play Area, etc.

Silverene Twin Towers (Joined in Finishing Stage )

The project consists of two residential towers with three basement levels, ground floor, two podium levels including mezzanine with 32 floors of residential space in Tower A and 24 floors of residential space in Tower B. This residential towers project was built opposite the water’s edge in one of the best locations in the Dubai Marina.
