Please familiarise yourself with the course requirements below. The course is very demanding and requires 100% participation and attendance.

There are at least 56 contact hours on the course which include:

·  input sessions

·  tutorial support

·  supervised lesson planning

·  4 hours of teaching practice

·  teaching practice feedback

·  peer observation

There are also 6 hours of directed observation of classes of young learners

Within the course timetable, a minimum of 25 hours are included for related reading, research, assignments and lesson preparation.

4. Language analysis – pre-teaching vocabulary

You are using the following piece of material to teach a class of 10 pre-intermediate students. They are 8-10 years old.
