Job purpose
To develop real-world behaviour models, collect and analyse various forms of data, sourced from various systems, to stimulate the developed models to establish the causal impact of adoption factors to business performance for the KTP partner AppLearn Ltd.
Key accountabilities/primary responsibilities / % Time /
1.  / To plan, organise and carry out a range of analysis using specified software packages and contribute to the interpretation of results. / 40 %
2.  / To meet colleagues/clients (of the KTP partner) to understand the specified requirements of the project / 20%
3.  / To resolve a range of standard work issues independently, knowing when to refer more complex cases to supervisor/manager. / 20 %
4.  / To attend relevant meetings when requested by manager in support of standard work activities. / 10%
5.  / Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder. / 10 %

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications, knowledge and experience / A 2:1 degree with a numerical focus (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Business Analytics, etc.)
Experience of using one or more analytical/programming software packages (e.g. SAS, R, Matlab, SPSS, STATA, etc.)
Experience of data analytics and associated rigorous scientific protocols / Experience of using large real application datasets to deliver actionable insights for businesses
Knowledge of current Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) issues and approaches would be advantageous
Planning and organising / A self-starter, able to plan and focus on an extensive portfolio of research and development that will lead to long-term commercial benefit / A high level of maturity and effective project management would be preferable
Problem solving and initiative / Able to organise their own research activities, work plan and quality standards effectively / Logical thinker with desire to work in a commercial environment
Management and teamwork / Able to work effectively in a team and organise time, tasks and responsibilities with other team members
Communicating and influencing / Good interpersonal skills and effective communication skills / Ability to clearly document and communicate results at a company level and to prospective customers
