5. CEMETERY REGULATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ERRECTION OF A MEMORIAL
A Copy of our Cemetery Regulations can be found our website at www.strattonstmargaret.gov.uk, under the section ‘Services and Cemeteries’.
a) Proof of graver ownership shall be provided by the applicant (copy of Grant).
b) Dimensions and type of a memorial shall adhered to our Cemetery Regulation Number 12.
c) Regulation 12 and 13 should be read by both applicant and Memorial Masons to ensure they comply with the erection of a new memorial or, additional inscriptions or cleaning of a memorial.
d) Payment for all new memorials must be forwarded with application. Current fees will be on our website and any review of our fees will take affect the 1st April annually.
e) Stratton St Margaret Parish Council will check all details supplied to confirm ownership of grave and providing all information is correct, a copy of this form will be sent back to the Memorial Masons with a permit number.
f) The Head Groundsman will be informed of the permit and you will be required to call on 07824661016 to arrange a suitable date and time for the works. 48 hours notice is required.
g) All fixings to be fixed to NAMM 1 pole fixing.
h) A condition of the permit will be to ensure the grave number is carved at the base of the Memorial.
