Performing Animals Registration

Procedure Notes

If you keep or train animals for public performance – for example, in a circus, television or film production, or a theatre performance

Before applying for a Performing Animals Registration you may wish to have regard to the Performing Animals (Regulation) Act 1925.

·  In order for your application to be accepted you must ensure you send in the following information:

-  Completed application form.

-  Copy of the insurance policy

-  Fee or a copy of the receipt if the fee has been paid online. A list of the fees is shown below and is also available at www.shropshire.gov.uk.

·  Please note: if any part of the application is incomplete, or the fee not paid, the application will not be processed until such a time as all the information / documentation is provided

·  Once the Licensing Team have received the application form, an Officer will assess whether an inspection is necessary and contact you accordingly. Providing everything is satisfactory the licence will be issued.
