DRAWING OF ENTRIES will be conducted by the tracking test committee on October 9, 2013 at 6:30 PM, at Ag Choice Bldg. on the Penn State Ag Progress Grounds, Pennsylvania Furnace, PA. All entered are invited to attend. The test worker policy will be used for this test. Chapter 1, Section 13d Test Worker Option. A club may set aside tracks for test workers from previous tests, as defined and identified by the test giving club. One track will be set aside according to this policy. Drawing for the remaining tracks will be random among all entries received, except that preference will be given to those dogs which have not earned a TDX title.

DRAWING OF ENTRIES will be conducted by the tracking test committee on October 9, 2013 at 6:30 PM, at the Ag Choice Bldg on the Penn State Ag Progress Grounds, Pennsylvania Furnace, PA. All entered are invited to attend. Test worker policy will be used for this test.

When the limit of 5 dogs for the TDX Test have been drawn, all remaining entries, subject to the same preferences set forth above, shall be assigned a position on an Alternate List corresponding to the order in which they are drawn. The test secretary shall notify all entries of the result of the draw.

DRAWING FOR TRACKS will be at 10:30 AM October 20, 2013.

The TDX Test will begin following the drawing for tracks.

An appropriate memento will be awarded to each dog successfully completing the test. Directions will be mailed to all exhibitors.

GENERAL INFORMATION

REFUNDS: No entry fees will be refunded except for an alternate that does not participate or in the event that an accepted entry withdraws after the closing in order to allow an alternate to replace said entry. In these cases, the entry fee shall be refunded within 7 days following the test. In the event that an accepted entry withdraws after the closing date and there is no alternate to replace said entry, the entry fee will NOT be refunded.

ENTRY FEE: $100.00 (includes $.50 AKC recording fee and $1.50 AKC event service fee). Entries close at 5:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2013 at the test secretary’s address, after which time entries cannot be accepted, canceled, altered or substituted.

Mail all entries and fees to: Kathleen Huey, 145 Huey Lane, Spring Mills, PA 16875. Make all checks and money orders payable in US funds to Mt. Nittany Dog Training Club. Telegraph, telephone and unsigned entries cannot be accepted.

Bitches in season may participate, but must follow Chapter 2, section 8 of the Tracking Regulations. The test secretary and the judges must be notified prior to the drawing for tracks.

AGREEMENT

I (we) acknowledge that the “Rules Applying to Dog Shows” and the “Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline” and, if this entry is for an obedience trial the “Obedience Regulations,” have been made available to me (us), and that I am (we are) familiar with their contents. I (we) agree that the club holding this show or obedience trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lesser of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds, or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft damage or injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes.

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color). Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.). Dachshunds (long-haired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough, smooth).

2.  The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3.  (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.

4.  A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time of entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to A.K.C. (For complete rule refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).
