ZERO TOLERENCE CODE OF CONDUCT

The SANTA CLARA LIONS FOOTBALL CLUB’S coaches and cheer staffs believe that the young athletics certified to their rosters should conduct themselves as responsible representatives of Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading. In order to assure the conduct of all participants and coaches the Santa Clara Lions administration will enforce a “Code of Conduct”. Furthermore, members of our teams or squads who fail to abide by the “Code of Conduct” are subject to disciplinary action and or removal. Members of the Santa Clara Lions teams and squads must always serve as examples of high moral character and must demonstrate appropriate academic commitment, which is expected for all participants. As recognized representatives of the Santa Clara Lions Football Club, Players, Cheerleaders, Coaches and Administrators are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior during all activities.

The Santa Clara Lions Football Club has as its primary goal the development of athletics and academics of all participants. Therefore, each coach and administrator has the obligation to encourage athletes to perform within reasonable academics standards as well as high standards of athletic sportsmanship.

Lions Football has a developed a minimum standard of conduct for all Parents and Participants to follow. Lions Football will proceed with the maximum available penalties for any violation of the “Zero Tolerance Code of Conduct”.
