Ultimate Frisbee

Advisor: Dan Sidor

This is our first athletic team here at PenderEarlyCollege. The Ultimate Frisbee club will become a team. The team is male/female and we will play other early colleges. This club involves having mandatory practice during clubs and after school (when the weather cools down) at least once a week. Members will be responsible for providing their own transportation home from practice (which could be up to three times a week, if there is a tournament). We will start slow and learn the game first, then start having more practice. The club team will be conditioning and learning the game. No previous Frisbee skills are needed. Players from the UNCW club Frisbee team will help coach our team. We may even play them in a scrimmage. This is an opportunity for you to play on a team. Some students can earn athletic scholarships for this sport. You will need athletic gear, such as cleats, shorts, and other supplies. The first meeting (during clubs) is an informational meeting. We may even let you join the team and also another club if it is possible. Come and joinPenderEarlyCollege’s first athletic team.
