Call to Order: 7:36 pm
President:Peggy advised: Tournament made $225. A good start to a different type of tournament. Tryouts are the 2nd and 3rd weeks in May- Boys May 14 and 21. Girls May 15 and 22. Will get with Chris Updyke about times for tryouts. Girls on Boys team can tryout with the boys. Proposed new rule that only 2 girls per team with existing established teams. Age groups will stand as decided in the meeting. Chuck and Carrie fundraiser is going very well. Best season since I have been in the club, about 260-270 kids playing recreation soccer.
Travel:
Boys: Jeremy advised nothing to report. Next meeting is in May
Girls: Rob advised nothing to report
General Secretary: Linda Mazzarelli advised picture packets will be given out this weekend. Pictures are April 11th. No training or practice on picture day. Pictures are in cafeteria A by the auditorium. Tops Soccer starts at 5pm. Fundraiser baskets are going very well. Still need baskets from a few teams. Picture packets will be at the shed this weekend. Must arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Treasurer: Stephanie advised report is self-explanatory. Any questions let Stephanie know.
Recreation: Stephanie advised games went well with some minor referring issues. Chris and Stephanie are working with the referring issues and how refs are assigned. Jeremy mentioned that the refs need to be more confident and make the right call. Parking issues: need to try to park properly, can’t block the emergency entrance by the baseball field or the bridge on Kennedy Lane. Smoking and dogs on the field are still an issue.
