PEER REVIEW OF INDIVIDUAL

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE TEAM CSC 4350/6350 SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

Spring 2018 5:30-7:15p TR Langdale Hall 305J. L. Bhola

Each team member is required to submit a confidential evaluation on all members of the project team. (Failure to do so can result in a loss of up to 10 points from your own individual project grade.) These evaluations will be used to determine the number of points (out of 50) each team member receives.

This evaluation will be accomplished individually and confidentially by the evaluator. Assign an "effort rating" to each of the following deliverables by every team member (excluding yourself) using the following scale: 0 = no effort, 1 = exceptionally low effort, 2 = low effort, 3 = average effort, 4 = high effort, and 5 = outstandingly high effort. You may interpret these numbers as measuring the effort (see the notes on estimation for the use of effort) contributed by a team member working on the deliverables.

All the ratings received by a team member will be averaged (across the 5 rating areas and the other team members). The average rating will be used to assign the points a team member receives:

Team Member's Project Points = ([AR*0.0375] + 0.85) * (PS/100) * PW

For Iterative/Planned Method:

where:AR = Average Rating for team member;

PS = Project Score of the team's project (a percent, 0% to 100%);

PW = Project Worth (50 points).

Note: 1.5 extra points are possible.

Deliverables / Rating Area

Updated versions of the six initial documents / B
Test Documentation, including:
Final Test Plan and Test Schedule
A list of all bugs found during each phase of testing / C
What test uncovered the bug
Description of each bug
What action was taken to fix the bug

For Agile Method:

You will in your group, divide your software into 5 portion – each portion to be fully developed and presented in class and turned in after presentation. Each portion will be labeled A, B, C, D & E. You will rate each team member based upon their contribution, participation, help, etc. in producing each of the portion using the same scale as above.
