Synopticassessment

The mandatory synoptic unit requires learners to apply learning from across the qualification tothe completion of a defined vocational task. For Unit 5: Meeting Individual Care and SupportNeeds, learners complete reports relating to the care and support provided for individuals whichdrawtogether how underpinning values and principles are applied through working practices,including multi-disciplinary working. Learners complete the task using knowledge and understandingfrom their studies of the sector and apply both transferable and specialist knowledge andskills.

In delivering the unit you need to encourage learners to draw on their broader learning so theywillbe prepared for theassessment.
