Principal’s Report
Catholic School Week January 30 – 3rd
Kristina Munda to Co-Chair with Karen
Parents Club to help support this week (Signs for Hallway)
This week will include a Kick Off for the Parish for the School’s Annual Fund
Student Appreciation day will be Tuesday
Information Night will be Tuesday the 31st at 7 pm, Kyla will handle refreshments
Karen and Father Milton have a meeting scheduled November 10th, with Father Jay and Father Luke from St. Mary of the Valley and Holy Cross. Meeting to………………………..
We need to brainstorm ideas on how to reach out to Snohomish and raise awareness about St. Michael School
There will be an Information Night for incoming Kindergarten families in the Nov/Dec timeframe Date to be determined
Map Testing is complete: Will be communicating with the company regarding glitches, too many lock outs
Mrs. Blum’s class was the only class to successfully complete
Parent Monitors were very important in this process, especially in younger grades
Discovered 2nd grade is more successful if broken down into smaller groups for reading
Veteran’s Day Assembly
Matt Munda will be Guest Speaker
Teacher’s Accreditation- School Wide Learning Experience Friday 4th School lets out at noon
The Christmas Program will be the evening of December 12th – Hilary
Hilary will need help with:
Communication
Wardrobe
Set Up
Abby will ask for Volunteers
Lunch room
As our numbers increase, so does the noise level in the lunch room. Having daily lunchroom volunteers has been very helpful - Need a Thursday volunteer – Abby to put the word out
Treasurer Report
Currently have $2873 in the account
We have yet to receive a $165 check from Value Village (from Garage Sale)
There will be a full report next meeting
Fall Carnival went well
This was the fastest clean-up to date with many volunteers to help- Out by 9pm
Thanks to Heather, Tanya and Abby for starting
We need more volunteers for set up next year
Took in $102 in donations, better than last year
Friday is a good day for FC
Tanya to run the Kitchen for next year
We need a Game Committee, dedicated volunteers for Booths and Kitchen
Need activities for the older children i.e.: Flash Light Tag…
Quarter Craze:
We have 30 vendors participating/ …….more than last year
3 cancelled last minute, but still sending donations
Acquired Banquet License so will be serving Sangria and beer
Tanya will make red and white Sangria
Teachers will make desserts
Set up will be Friday November 4th at 10:30 am – Volunteers needed
Doors to open at 5 pm for Vendors
Except Uzo Books – They required a larger space/ more time for set up (back corner)
Loretta, Librarian will be partnering
Uzo will be donating books for our library
We will open for the Public at 6 and kick off at 6:30
SuziDutro will be asking for volunteers in the Newsletter
Older children are welcome/ If children are not able to stay with adults, childcare is available
Niki will make announcement in the beginning of the night
