Paws Aboard, a local Tampa Bay pet supplies manufacturer is launching the world’s first dual, retractable, non-tangling leash. The Freedom Leash enables one-hand operation and has a unique spinning, non-tangling system for pet owners with more than one dog.

“I came up with the idea for The Freedom Leash because I have two dogs myself and I got tired of always having to do the leash dance”, says Amber McCrocklin, president and owner of Paws Aboard. McCrocklin was fed-up with the “not so graceful” twirling moves she did in order to untangle the leashes and knows that millions of multiple dog owning households share her frustration. With The Freedom Leash, pet owners can shift their attention on more important issues while walking their dogs, like talking on the phone, instead of worrying about the hassle of leash tangling.
Paws Aboard was founded by Amber McCrocklin in 2003 when she invented the Doggy Boat Ladder to get her dog Bo safely back in the boat. From taking the Doggy Boat Ladder to her first trade show, Amber has come a long way with her start-up company. She has since moved on to create designer Pet Life Jackets, Water Toys and other pet accessories that are currently sold all over the States, Europe and even in Australia and New Zealand.
