  1. Call to order

Tawanna (Chase) Fieldscalled the meeting of the Patterson Co-Op 1984 25th Year Class Reunion at 3:00pm on Sunday, 20 April 2008 at,Greater Christian Pentecostal Church1267Infirmary Road, DaytonOH.

  1. Purpose

The purpose of this meeting was to obtain feedback regarding class reunion activities and further brainstorm and solidify ideas for fundraisers to support our reunion program.

  1. Old Business

a)Organize a steering committee to consolidate ideas for upcoming reunion –All persons present committed to assist as core committee members

b)Set a reunion date – Reunion date set as 7 thru 9 August 2009

c)Make contact with classmates

Set-Up a Chat Room to remotely connect to members – Still Open

Each one / Reach one (contact those you know) – On going effort

Set-Up website (Zoom share) – Still Open

d)Tentative list of events - Committee agreed on reunion format

Friday evening: Meet ‘n’ Greet in a public place where everyone who attends will “pay-as-you-go” (Therapy Café, CrownPlaza, Gilly’s or Club 88) – Adult Only Event

Saturday afternoon (Picnic, Skating, Bowling, Dave n Busters) – Classmates and their Families

Saturday evening – Dinner Dance (Celebrations, MandalayBanquetCenter)

Sunday morning – (Brunch 2nd Street Market, RTACulturalCenter)

e)Fundraisers – (to defray reunion costs)

We are currently working with no budget, it was suggested we do something with low start-up cost to build our reserves:

Car Wash – K-Mart Parking Lot – Trotwood

Bake/Dinner Sale

Raffle Ticket Sale

Golf Scramble – Madden Hills Golf Course

f)Class Mementos

T-shirts – To be provided by Kessler Sports (Mark Darling) – need minimum 1 week lead-time to order (will add as part of reunion cost)

Open for other suggestions

g)Reunion Bank Account – Appoint Treasurer(See New Business)

Officers Appointed As Follows:

  • Co Chairpersons: Paul Bryant & Tawanna (Chase) Fields
  • Treasurer: Percy Mann
  • Secretary: Terra E. (Banks) Pernell

Action Items:

  • Secure K-mart for Car Wash*NEW DATE* 21 JUNE 2008
  • Recruit classmates/families to participate
  • Each participant bring bucket, old towels
  • Contact hotel for prices to host weekend events
  • Get prices for raffle ticket printing
  • Contact Madden Hills Golf Course regarding golf scramble
