Dear Coaches, Judges, and Speechies,
Your presence is desperately needed on Super Saturday! Last year our heroes battled the dastardly Dr. Freeze and had to cancel the tournament. However, this year we’re determined to keep Freeze from striking once again. He might have frozen our tournament in time - back in 2013 - but our speech super heroes have trained to defeat Dr. Freeze this year andreturn the Winter Classic to 2014.
Will Dr. Freeze prevail once again?! Will our super heroes keep this tournament running on time?!?! Will some new kid try to use a prose book in a round of storytelling?!?!?! You’ll never know if you don’t attend!
So *POW!*BAM!*BOOM!* join us for the 16th annual Patriot Winter Classic Junior High Invitational, Saturday, December 6, 2013…errrr 2014! Right, 2014! It’s gonna be one Super Saturday!

Entries:The Patriot Winter Classic will offer all junior high K.H.S.S.L. individual events. Students are permitted to do multiple events but no student may do more than two events in each flight. There are no limits on the number of entries in each event, however, only the top three entries in each category from each school will be used to tabulate sweepstakes points. Substitutions may be made the morning of the tournament.
Fees:Single entries are $5.00 per entry. (Duo teams are $10.00 each.) Judges not provided will cost $25.00 each. Dropped judges result in a $50.00 fee!
Judges:Each school is asked to provide one judge for every six entries or the portion thereof. Again, there will be a $25.00 fee assessed for every judge we must provide for you; dropped judges result in a $50.00 fee. (We would much rather have your judges than your money!!!)
Rules:The Patriot Winter Classic will follow all K.H.S.S.L. rules for all events.

Awards:First through sixth places will be given in all categories including sweepstakes. Next -Out awards will be given for 7th places. We will also be recognizing outstanding novice competitors.
Lunch:Pizza, nachos, hot dogs, and other goodies will be available for student purchase. As for judges, coaches, and bus drivers… our hospitality room should keep you occupied!
