Cancellation Policy
The ACHS reserves the right to cancel any program. Full registration will be refunded if a program is cancelled or oversubscribed.
IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL *
An administration fee of $50 (GST inclusive) will apply to all cancellations with written notification of inability to attend the program. Alternatively, a nominated replacement may attend the full course only. If no written notification of cancellation is received, the registrant will be liable to pay the full registration.

  • Understand patient safety and reliability principles
  • Lead RCA teams
  • Understand types of error
  • Understand types of variation so as to increase likelihood of successful recommendations
  • Preparation of recommendations and linking to quality improvement
  • Develop skills in interviewing staff
  • Develop skills in open disclosure of error to patients and families
Project based
All registrants will be required to undertake a work-based project, using their learnings from the course, as well as a 15-minute verbal presentation.
