Pathways Health Centre for Children Announces New Corporate Sponsor

Pathways Health Centre for Children is excited to announce Newalta as the Title Sponsor of

ARTZscape BY THE BAY….

A Festival in Celebration of theArts, featuringwork in all categories of the visual arts field selected from entries spanning across Southwestern Ontario. This juriedexhibition & saleshowcases many artists who have never exhibited in Sarnia before and we are delighted to present them in our new venue – due to the Centennial Park closure. Bridgeview& Sarnia Bay Marinahave graciously come forward to be our Site Sponsorwith theirparkland settinglocated at the north slip.

“We look forward very much to an ongoing relationship with Newalta,” said Jenny Greensmith, Executive Director of Pathways. “This new corporate support for Pathways helps provide vital sustainability to the level of programs and services required in our community of Sarnia Lambton for children from their infancy through transition to adulthood.

Tim Bechard, Newalta’s district manager for Southwest Ontario, said working with Pathways gives the company the opportunity to become more involved in a community where its people live and work.

“Community health and well-being is a core area of giving at Newalta,” said Bechard. “We are delighted to help raise awareness and funds so that Pathways can continue to cater to the needs of our children and their families. We were also drawn to ARTZscape because it offers artists a platform to showcase their work.”

Newalta provides environmental solutions focused on recycling and recovering valuable resources from industrial residues. The company is currently in the process of expanding its Sarnia operations to further meet industry needs for improving environmental performance in the region. Each year, the company recovers approximately $400 million worth of reusable products from waste that would otherwise be sent for disposal.
