Embroidery stitches will be taught/reviewed to complete small projects. We will discuss finishing in class.

Supplies

Materials listed on page 18:

10” x 10” cream fabric for pincushion top

2 rectangles, 5” x 10” print for pincushion bottom

10” x 10” of lightweight fusible interfacing

6 strand embroidery floss in red, pink, yellow, light green, dark green, light blue and medium blue

1 button-1”

filling for pincushion – we will discuss in class

# 7, 8 or 9 embroidery needle – see page 8 of book

4” embroidery hoop or your preferred size

Small scissors

Frixon pen, pencil or other marker

light box if you have one

12-14” square of muslin or plain fabric, embroidery hoop and floss to practice stitches
