January 8 – 17, 2018

Day 1, January 8, Monday:Departure from Miami, overnight flight including dinner, breakfast, and in-flight entertainment.

Day 2, January 9, Tuesday: Tel Aviv / Netanya. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. We are met, assisted, and escorted to our hotel by aviatours staff. Overnight in Netanya.

Day 3, January 10, Wednesday:Caesarea / Mt. Carmel (Mujraka) / Meggiddo / Mt. Precipice / Cana After breakfast we continue to Caesarea (Acts 10:1ff), the port-city built by King Herod. Apostle Paul was put in prison here until he was expelled to Rome. We continue to Mt. Carmel (Mujraka) where Elijah challenged the 450 false prophets of Ba’al. Our next stop is Megiddo-the Biblical city overlooking the Valley of Armageddon (Revelation 16:16). We proceed to Cana (John 21:2) where the first miracle of Jesus took place. Our final stop is Mt. Precipice to overlook the city of Nazareth. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4, January 11, Thursday:Caesarea Philippi / Capernaum / Tabgha / Mt. of Beatitudes / Jordan River / Jerusalem After breakfast, we visit Caesarea Philippi where Jesus revealed to Peter as the son of God. We descend and take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee toCapernaum(Luke 4:31) to visit the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the Byzantine chapel at the site of Peter's House. We then continue toTabgha(Matt 14:17, 19), the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and the Fish,Mount of Beatitudes(Matt 5-7). We continue to the Baptism site at theJordan River, where those who wish, may renew their Baptism in this unique place. We will reach Jerusalem to have dinner and overnight.

Day 5, January 12, Friday: Qumran / Dead Sea / Masada / Jericho / Jerusalem. We drive south to theDead SeathroughQumran, to visit the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We’ll then continue toMasada, the palace-fort built by King Herod. Here, in 73 A.D., 960 Jewish zealots committed suicide rather than surrender to the Romans. The plateau is reached via a cable car ride with a spectacular view of the plains surrounding it. We’ll also dip in the Dead Sea – rich with minerals, God’s gift to your skin. If time permits, we will visit Jericho – the oldest city in the world. Here, we see the Mountains of Temptation. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6, January 13, Saturday: Jerusalem- The Old City Our first stop will be theMount of Olives(Mark 13:3) with a panoramic view of both the "old" and "new" Jerusalem. We follow the path down the Palm Sunday road to theGarden of Gethsemane(Matt 26:36) and the nearby Church of All Nations. We then take a short drive through the Kidron Valley to reach Absalom and Zachariah's Tomb. Continue toMount Zion(King David's tomb) and the Upper Room (John 13:1ff),site of the Last Supper. Nearby isthe house of Caiaphaswhere Jesus was captured. We then visit the "little town ofBethlehem(Matt 2:1ff) and its' Church of the Nativity and Milk Grotto. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7, January 14, Sunday: After breakfast we visit themodern city of Jerusalem,the famous Menorah near theIsraeli Parliament (Knesset),theYad Va Shem Museum(the Holocaust Museum). We will visit theWailing Wall(the Western Wall) - the last remains of

the Temple built by King Herod and theRabbi’s Tunnelwhich exposes to you the unique size of the Wailing Wall. We walk several stations of theWay of the Crossuntil we reach theBible Institutedepicting articles of the temple. Our day ends with dinner and overnight in our hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 8, January 15, Monday: City of David / Shrine of the book / Garden Tomb After breakfast we continue to visit the City of David where King David established his residence before taking the City. We will then continue to The Israel Museum, house of theShrine of the Bookwhere the original Dead Sea scrolls are exhibited and displaythe model of Jerusalem from the time of Jesus. We then dedicate time for a visit, pray and meditation at theGarden Tombat Golgotha.Visit the tomb from where HE resurrected (John 19:40-41.Next we then travel to the Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9, January 16, Tuesday: Jerusalem: For You! A day at leisure for your own independent explorations and activities, or additional optional sightseeing. Our day ends with a farewell dinner and over night in Jerusalem.

Day 10, January 17, Wednesday: Flight back home Transfer to the airport.Arrival home in the U.S.A. on the same day.Welcome back. You have just returned from a lifetime experience.

Passports and Visas: Your passport must be valid at least until 7 June 2018 (It is your responsibility to check your passport to see if it’s valid for travel. As per TSA Guidelines your passport needs to be valid at least 6 months after the return date). USA citizens do not need a visa to Israel, other nationalities please visit the Israeli consulate www.israelemb.org, please check the consulate(s) website for the countries visited to see if visa is required for your nationality Single room supplement is an additional of $550 mandatory for the participant that does not have a roommate. Aviatours and your leader will try their best to find a roommate, but if we are unable to find one for you 45 days before departure, you will need to pay the single supplement.

BAGGAGE: Only 1 piece of luggage of 50lb is allowed free of charge. The carry on should not exceed 16lbs.

Reservations and payment: A $300 deposit (by check or money order only is required at time of registration. Initial deposits need to be submitted as soon as possible to guarantee your seat with the airline. $500 additional before July 5, 2017. Final payment is due no later than 10 October 2017 to avoid a $75 late payment fee. Non-payment by October 24, 2017 will cause an automatic seat cancellation with the airline. Cancellations and insurance: This is a promotional fare; your cancellation can affect the size of the group and costs. For this reason we must charge cancellations fees: Up to 6 months prior to departure = $75. Between 180 – 100 days - a $375 fee; between 99 - 70 days prior to departure - a $575 fee; between 69-16 days the fee is $675 + non-refundable airline tickets; between 15 days up to departure date, 100% of the total cost of package + the value of the airline ticket. In addition, there will be a penalty applied for cancellation fees in case non-refundable airline ticket has been issued and single supplement fee if cancellation affects the accommodation of your roommate at the hotels. Only written cancellations will be considered. Name changes up to 100 days are acceptable for a $75 administrative fee. From 99 days until day of departure, name changes will be considered as a cancellation. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover ​for ​cancellation fees ​due tomedical reasons and, ​ acute financial situations​. It also covers medical expenses overseas, accidents, lost or damage​d ​luggage ​ and more.
