Directions to Athletic Facilities

Bayonne Lincoln School – Swimming

South on NJ Turnpike to Exit 14A. Exit onto Avenue E. Follow Avenue E to 30th Street. Turn left onto 30th Street. Cross a railroad overpass. Lincoln School is ½ block beyond overpass. Enter schoolyard in the middle of the block. Park in the schoolyard. Enter the school through the door leading from the schoolyard.

Bergen Community College

Take Hillsdale Avenue over the Parkway to left turn at the light onto Van Emburgh Avenue. After about 2 ½ miles Van Emburgh will become a ramp over Route 17. (Stay on ramp.) Take slight right onto Linwood Avenue. After crossing over Route 17 go about ¼ mile and turn left at the traffic light onto Paramus Road. Bergen Community College will be on your left after about 2 miles. The swimming pool is in the rear of the campus.

Bergenfield High School

Take Kinderkamack Road to Old Hook. Turn left onto Old Hook and remain until you get to Schraalenburgh Road. Turn right onto Schraalenburgh and remain for approximately 3.5 miles. (Schraalenburgh will become Washington Avenue.) Turn right onto West Main. Stay on West Main until you get to South Prospect. Turn left onto South Prospect. The school is on your right on South Prospect.

Bergenfield - Off Campus Facilities:

boys and girls tennis: Ahdeek Courts. take Washington Avenue south to right turn onto West Central (across railroad tracks). Turn left onto Pelham to the courts.
Clove Courts. Take Washington Avenue to Hickory (Hickory is a couple blocks past the traffic light at West Central). Turn left onto Hickory. You will pass Jefferson School on your right. Turn left onto Clove after passing the school. The courts are on Clove.

softballPAL Fields.The Bergenfield Police Athletic league League is located in the Northeast corner of Bergenfield. Take Washington Avenue to East Main Street. Make a left onto Bogart Place. Make a right onto Rivera Way.

frosh. baseballVivyen Field. take Washington Avenue to Madison Avenue. Turn right onto Madison. Go over the railroad tracks to the second light (Prospect Avenue) and turn left. Approximately four blocks turn right onto Twin- Boro Lane and then left at the first road (opposite the DPW). Follow around to the right to the end. The field is on your left.

Bernard’s High School

Take 287 South. Five to ten minutes south of the Morristown exits watch for the Bernardsville exit. (It is a short exit ramp. Be very careful as it merges, visibility is poor.) Turn left at the light onto 202 South. After turning left on 202 South, go to the second traffic light. You should be at the main intersection in the center of Bernardsville. Turn right onto Anderson Road. After approximately ¼ mile (the 2nd street on right) you will hit Olcott Ave. Turn right. Go about 100 yards on Olcott. You will see the Board of Education Building (2-story, old stone building) on your right. The high school is directly behind the Board of Education building.

Cornwall Central High School

Take the Palisades Parkway North until it ends at the Bear Mountain Circle (which is about a hundred feet short of the Bear Mountain Bridge). At the circle, take the third exit for 9W North (DON'T take the second exit for the Bridge). At Cornwall turn right at the Quaker Ave exit (this is just after the Angola Road exit). At end of the ramp take a left onto Quaker Ave (west). The road ends at an intersection with Route 32 (approx 1/2 mile). Turn right onto Route 32 (north). Go straight on Route 32 for 1.6 miles. You'll approach a five-way intersection with a traffic light. Get into the far left lane. Turn left onto route 94 West. Go 1.1 miles to the intersection of Mount Airy Road (the road sign is on the right). Turn left into Cornwall Central High School.

Cresskill High School

Take Piermont to River Vale Road. Turn right onto River Vale Road. Proceed about 2 1/4 miles. Turn right onto Bogert's Mill Road. At the light turn left onto Old Hook. Turn right at the light onto Knickerbocker Road. Go about 2 miles then turn left onto Grant Avenue. At the bottom of the hill turn left onto Cottage then quick left onto Cresskill Avenue. Cresskill High School will be on your right on Lincoln Drive.

Darlington County Park

Take Route 17 north to Lake Street exit. Turn right onto Lake Street across Route 17. Proceed about 2 miles through Franklin Turnpike. Pass Ramsey High School (on your left). Continue over the railroad tracks to the corner of Main Street and Central Avenue. Turn right onto Central Avenue. Proceed about 3 blocks and turn left onto Darlington Avenue. Darlington County Park is on Darlington Avenue about 3 - 4 miles on your left.

Dwight Morrow (Englewood) High School

Take Piermont Road to a right onto River Vale Road. Stay on River Vale Road for approximately 2 1/4 miles. Turn right onto Bogert’s Mill Road. At the light turn left onto Old Hook. Take Old Hook to the light at Knickerbocker Road. Turn right onto Knickerbocker. Stay on Knickerbocker past Demarest High School. Go straight through the circle in Dumont and continue about three miles. Dwight Morrow (Englewood H.S.) will be on your right. The gym is in back of the building.

Dumont High School

Take Piermont Avenue to right turn onto River Vale Road. Stay on River Vale Road for approximately 2 1/4 miles then turn right onto Bogert's Mill Road. Go to the light and turn left onto Old Hook. Cross the railroad tracks to the first traffic light (Schraalenburgh Road) and turn right. Stay on Schraalenburgh until you get to New Milford Avenue. Turn right onto New Milford Avenue. The school is across the railroad tracks on your left.

Elmwood Park High School

Take the Garden State Parkway south to Exit 157-Garfield. The exit will lead into Route 46 West. Travel on 46 West for approximately 2000 ft. and take the first exit off Route 46, Ridgewood (first exit past Pizza Town). Follow River Dr. for approximately 2 miles to the High School, which will be on your right. Fields and gym entrance are located in the rear of the building.

Emerson High School

Take Kinderkamack Road through Westwood into Emerson. Turn left at the light onto Main Street (Boston Market is on the corner). The school is about a mile down the road on your right.

Fair Lawn High School

Take Route 17 south to Route 4 west. At the Route 4/Route 208 split stay to your right, merging onto Route 208. Stay on Route 208 for about 2 miles until you exit at the second Fair Lawn Avenue exit. Go over Route 208 to traffic light at Orchard Street. Turn left onto Orchard Street. The school will be directly in front of you at the bottom of the hill.

Fair Lawn - Off Campus Facilities:

Take Maple Avenue across Route 208. Turn left into the bowling alley

parking lot on your right. The fields are behind the bowling alley.

Orchard Street to end. Make right onto Berdan Avenue and follow to

end. Fields on right.

FDU Rothman Center (track meets)

Take Kinderkamack Road south through River Edge and Oradell. Before you get to Route 4, turn left at Main Street light. Cross over railroad tracks. Turn right at light onto Hackensack Avenue. Stay on Hackensack Avenue crossing over Route 4, passing Bergen Tech. Turn left at the Temple Avenue traffic light. FDU Rothman Center is at the end of Temple Avenue.

Floyd Hall Arena (at Montclair State University)

Take the Garden State Parkway to exit 157 - Rt-46. Take Route 46 west to Valley Rd. (Montclair exit). Go south on Valley Rd. for 1 mile to Normal Ave. (Entrance to Montclair State University.) Turn right on Normal Avenue and proceed 1/8 mile to College Ave. (this again is an entrance road to the University). Turn right on College Ave. and follow the road as it winds to the left (turns into Heating Plant Way). Then turn right on Carlisle Rd. (stay to the left when road forks off to right--follow exit sign through what appears to be a parking lot). Go 1/4 mile to the next intersection (there is a guard house here) and continue straight (Floyd Hall Arena sign is here) to Arena on right side of road.

Fort Lee High School

Take Kinderkamack Road to Route 4 east. Procede about 6.5 miles then take the ramp toward US-9W/FORT LEE/US-9/PALISADES PKWY/US-1/US-46. Turn left onto Fletcher Avenue. Go about 1/2 mile then turn left onto Lemoine Avenue (9W). Go .2 miles. The school is 3000 Lemoine Avenue.

Garfield Boys Club

Take the Garden State Parkway south to exit 159. Take the exit to Saddle Brook. (Do not get on Route 80.) Keep right at the fork to go onto Molnar Drive. Take the Midland Avenue ramp toward SaddleBrook/Gafield. Turn slight right onto Midland Avenue. The Boys club is at 490 Midland Avenue (approximately 1.8 miles).

Garfield High School

Take Garden State Parkway south to exit 159 toward Saddle Brook/Paterson. Take the exit toward I-80 East/Saddle Brook. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Keep right at the second fork. Turn slight right onto Midland Avenue. Go about 1 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Outwater Lane. Go about 1/2 mile then turn sharp right onto Palisade Avenue. High School will be on your left.

Garrett Mountain

Take the Garden State Parkway South to Route 80 west. Exit onto Squirrelwood Road. At the end of the ramp make a left. Go south up the hill. At the Y, where an Army tank is in middle of the road, stay to the left. The park entrance will be on your right about 300 yards up the road.

Hackensack High School

Take Route 17 south to Essex Street exit. Make a left turn at the stop sign. Go to First Street (4 traffic lights) and turn left. Proceed about 5 blocks to the high school.

Hanover Park High School

Take Garden State Parkway south to exit 159 - Route 80 west. Take Route 80 west to Route 287 south. Exit at Route 10 east. Proceed about 6 miles. Look for Warnock Dodge/Chrysler dealership. Between dealership and next traffic light turn slight right onto Mt. Pleasant Avenue. (Follow signs for Oakner Parkway.) Go through traffic light. Signs for school will be on your right. Hanover Park High School is 63 Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

Hasbrouck Heights High School

Take Route 17 south. Proceed about 5 miles past Route 80 and Route 46. Look for the field on your right. Exit onto Franklin Avenue. The field is on your right.

Holiday Bowl (Bowling)

Take Route 17 north to Route 287 south toward Morristown. Take the US-202 exit (exit 58) toward Oakland. Turn left onto US-202 and continue for about 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Spruce Street. Holiday Bowl will be on your right.

Holy Angels High School

Take Piermont Road to a right onto River Vale Road. Stay on River Vale Road for approximately 2 1/4 miles. Turn right onto Bogert’s Mill Road. At the light turn left onto Old Hook. Take Old Hook to the light at Knickerbocker Road. Turn right onto Knickerbocker. Pass NV Demarest. Turn left onto Hardenburg Avenue at the traffic light. Continue to County Road. Turn right at the light onto County Road. Turn left onto Ross Avenue. Turn left onto Hillside Avenue. Holy Angels will be on your left.

Ice House Arena

Take Kinderkamack Road south through River Edge and Oradell. Before you get to Route 4 turn left at Main Street light. Cross over railroad tracks. Turn right at light onto River Street (may be Hackensack Avenue at this point). Stay on River Street crossing over Route 4, passing Bergen Tech and the FDU Rothman Center. Keep going until you get to the light at Midtown Bridge Approach. Turn left. The Ice House will be a couple blocks on your right with large parking areas on your left.

Ice Vault Arena

Take Garden State Parkway to Route 80 west (exit 159). Take Route 80 to Route 23 north. Take Alps Road exit (Wayne). Proceed approximately 2 miles to the traffic light at intersection of Alps and Ratzer Roads. Turn extreme right onto Ratzer and go about 1 mile to traffic light at Ratzer and Valley Roads. Turn left onto Valley Road. Take for approximately 1 mile through first traffic light (Hamburg Turnpike). The next traffic light is Barbour Pond Drive, turn left. Rink is approximately 150 yards on right.

Indian Hills High School

Take Route 17 south to Route 4 west. At the Route 4/Route 208 split stay to the right, merging onto Route 208. Stay on Route 208 until you exit at Colonial Road (approximately 10 miles). Turn left at the light onto Colonial Road. Stay on Colonial Road for about 1/4 mile. At the top of the hill turn right onto McCoy Road. After about 1/2 mile on McCoy turn onto Yawpo Avenue. The school is on Yawpo on your right.

Indian Hills - Off Campus Facilities:

jv & frosh. boys soccer Muni Fields. take Route 208 to Colonial Road exit. Turn right and follow to the end. Make a right onto Franklin Avenue. At 1st traffic light turn left onto Pulis Avenue. Go one block and turn rght onto DeKorte. Field is in back.

frosh. baseball & softballOakland Recreation Fields. take Route 208 west to Route 202 exit. Turn left onto Route 202. The fields are behind the municipal complex on your right about a mile from the exit.

Jersey City Armory

Take Route 17 south to Route 3 East. After passing the Meadowlands Sports Complex stay to your right onto Routes 1 & 9/Tonnele Avenue. Remain on Route 1& 9/Tonnele Avenue for about 3 miles, crossing under the Pulasky Skyway. Go another1/2 mile and turn right onto Kennedy Boulevard. Take Kennedy Boulevard for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Montgomery Street. The armory is 678 Montgomery Street.

Kenilworth – David Brearley High School

Take the Garden State Parkway south to exit 138 toward Kenilworth/Roselle Park. Keep left a tht fork in the ramp. Turn left onto Galloping Hill Road. Galloping Hill Road becomes Kenilworth Boulevard. turn right onto N. Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Monroe Avenue. The parking lot entrance will be on your left.

Kittatinny High School

Take Route 80 West to exit 34B onto Route 15 North. After Sparta the highway becomes a two lane road. Continue to Lafayette and turn left at the traffic light onto Route 94 South. Continue to the next traffic light (Rt. 94 and 206) and turn right onto 206 North about 2,000 feet and then turn left (before Agway gas station) onto Halsey Road also called Route 626. Continue on Halsey through intersection of Halsey and 519, cross two single lane bridges, continue up the curved hill and around two bends in the road and you will see the Kittatinny entrance signs on your right.

Jefferson Township High School

Take Route 80 West to Exit 34B (Route 15 North). At the end of the ramp go right, going through one traffic light and take the right fork for Route 15 north. Travel on Route 15 for 4.7 miles going through four traffic lights. After the 4th light there will be two exits in rapid succession. Take the second exit for "Milton, Oak Ridge and Weldon Road." This exit will place you onto Weldon Road in the proper direction (north). Weldon Road is very winding and hilly. You will be on Weldon Road, passing through the Mahlon-Dickerson Reserve. Jefferson High School will be the second school on your right about 5 miles from Route 15. The fields are behind the school.

Lakeland High School

Take Route 17 south to Route 4 west to Route 208 west. Continue to exit 57 (Skyline Drive). Take Skyline Drive for approximately 5 miles to exit left onto Conklintown Road. Lakeland High School will be on your left about 1.5 miles from Skyline Drive.
