Partner Center Enhancements – Quick Reference Guide

Autodesk Contracts & Assets Basics

Log In to Partner Center

1.  Navigate to http://partnercenter.autodesk.com .

2.  Enter your User ID and Password.
If you do not have a User ID and or Password, please contact your Partner Center Administrator.

Accessing the Contracts and Assets Functionality in Partner Center

Once you are in Partner Center, access the Contracts & Assets functionality by clicking on the Contracts & Assets link.



When you click the Contracts and Assets Link, the following window appears providing you with the starting point for all contacts and assets transactions.

Query & View Contracts

1.  From the Partner Center Home page, click on the Contracts & Assets link.
The Contracts & Assets window appears.

2.  Select All Contracts from the Show Dropdown field.

The query screen appears.

3.  Enter the desired search criteria such as Contract #, Account #, Usage Type, and click Go.
The search results are displayed.

Query & View Assets

1.  From the Partner Center Home page, click on the Contracts & Assets link.
The Contracts & Assets window appears.

2.  Select Contract Query, Subscription Asset Query, or Asset Query from the Show Dropdown field.

The Asset Query screen appears.

3.  Enter the desired search criteria such as Serial #, Product Name, Account #, or Account Name and click Go.
The search results are displayed.

Contracts & Assets Transactions

Subscription Asset Split

1.  In the Partner Center Home Page, click the Contracts & Assets link.
The following screen appears.

2.  Navigate to the Contract Query view.

(Non-Subscription will be under Asset Query only, Subscription assets will be under Subscription Asset Query only, Contracts will be under Contract Query only.)
The following screen is displayed.

3.  Enter the desired search criteria such as Contract #, Account #, Usage Type, and click Go.
The query results screen appears.

4.  Click on the contract number to see the contract details.

The contract details screen appears.

5.  In the Assets Tab, select the Subscription asset you would like to split by checking the box to the left of the asset.

The Asset Details window appears.

6.  Select Split from dropdown in the Menu.

The Line Items Applet appears.
Note: make sure the original asset is selected.

7.  In the Line Item Attributes applet, select the first Serial Number enter the number of seats to remain in the original asset (this must be greater than 0).

8.  In the Line Items applet, navigate to the asset created with Serial number = blank.

9.  In the Line Attributes applet, enter the number of seats to be created for the new asset and save the record.

10.  Add notes as necessary

11.  Submit the transaction.

Subscription Asset Merge

1.  In the Partner Center Home Page, click the Contracts & Assets link.
The following screen appears.

2.  Navigate to the Contract Query view.

(Non-Subscription will be under Asset Query only, Subscription assets will be under Subscription Asset Query only, Contracts will be under Contract Query only.)

3.  Enter the desired search criteria such as Contract #, Account #, Usage Type, and click Go.

The query results screen appears.

4.  Click on the contract number to see the contract details.
The contract details screen appears.

5.  In the Assets Tab, select the Subscription asset you would like to merge by clicking in the check box.

The Asset Details window appears.

6.  Select Merge from dropdown in the Menu.

The Line Items Applet appears.
Note: make sure the original asset is selected.

7.  In the Line Items applet, click “Select Assets.”

8.  In the Pick Asset list applet select the asset to be merged.
Use the check box column to select

9.  Click Select.

10.  Add notes as necessary

11.  Submit the transaction.

Change Software Coordinator

1.  In the Partner Center Home Page, click the Contracts & Assets link.
The following screen appears.

2.  Navigate to the Contract Query view.

(Non-Subscription will be under Asset Query only, Subscription assets will be under Subscription Asset Query only, Contracts will be under Contract Query only.)

3.  Enter the desired search criteria such as Contract #, Account #, Usage Type, and click Go.

The query results screen appears.

4.  In the All Contracts view, click on Contract # to view contract details.

5.  Select the asset for which you would like to change the Software Coordinator.

6.  Check the box in the 1st column to indicate the asset that requires a Software Coordinator change.

7.  Select Change Software Coordinator from dropdown in the Menu.

8.  In the Line Items applet, navigate to the Software Coordinator column.

9.  Click the Pick list button to the right of the Software Coordinator field.
Select the new Software Coordinator from the Pick Contact list window and click OK.

10.  When you return to the Change SC Screen, click Save.

11.  Add notes.

12.  Submit the transaction.

Change Group Name

1.  In the Partner Center Home Page, click the Contracts & Assets link.
The following screen appears.

2.  Navigate to the Contract Query view.

(Non-Subscription will be under Asset Query only, Subscription assets will be under Subscription Asset Query only, Contracts will be under Contract Query only.)

3.  Enter the desired search criteria such as Contract #, Account #, Usage Type, and click Go.

The query results screen appears.

4.  In the All Contracts view, click on Contract # to view contract details.

5.  Check the box in the 1st column to indicate the asset that requires a Group Name change.

6.  Select Change Group Name from dropdown in the Menu.

7.  In the Line Items window, click into the Group Name column field.

8.  Update the group name to the new group name and click Save.

9.  Add notes.

10.  Submit the transaction.
