Expectations

Clothing

Participants must wear appropriate clothing to tumble in. Leotards, tight tanks and cotton shorts, or t-shirt and shorts (boys) are acceptable attire. If your child wears jeans they will not be able to participate. If your child has dance attire on, be sure that their tights have a hole cut in them or are “footless”.

Participation

If a child is showing dangerous behavior that is putting him/herself in a situation that could cause harm, I will sit them out until they show control.

If a child is being disruptive to the group, they will first be drawn in by a staff, if it continues, they will be sat out until they are ready to participate.

Staff

The staff is qualified and competent in their spotting ability. At times there may be a skill that requires staff to touch your child. At any time that you feel the spotting is inappropriate please contact Erin immediately. Praise and encouragement may be rewarded with a high five.

Classes

The staff will speak to parents directly when a child is showing progression in skill and is ready to be moved up to the next class. We want children of the same level to be in class together, so that they can all be working on the same skills.

Payment/ Registration

Payment is due by the first class. Registration for the following session begins the last week of the current session. We will take a one week break between sessions to rest. Registration can be done online or at the Open Registration night.

Parents of young children

Parents of children under 5 years old must have an adult in the waiting area that is responsible for taking them to the potty. At times there may be one teacher and up to 6 children, and would be disruptive for staff to leave to tend to their needs. Make sure your child uses the bathroom before class.

Children 5 and up can be dropped off if you feel that they can tend to their own potty needs.
