Partial Revision of the Test Guidelines for Dianella (Dianella Lam. ex Juss.)

1.The purpose of this document is to present a proposal for a partial revision of the Test Guidelines for Dianella (document TG/288/1).

2.At its forty-ninth session, held in Gimcheon City, Republic of Korea, from June 13 to 17, 2016, theTechnical Working Party for Ornamental Plants and Forest Trees (TWO) considered a partial revision of the TestGuidelines for Dianella (Dianella Lam. ex. Juss.) on the basis of documents TG/288/1 and TWO/49/21 “Partial Revision of the Test Guidelines for Dianella (document TG/288/1)” and proposed the following revisions to the TestGuidelines for Dianella (see document TWO/49/25 “Report”, paragraph 90):

  • Revision of Characteristic and Ad. 16 “Leaf: profile in cross section”
  • Revision of Characteristic 22 “Basal sheath: anthocyanin coloration”

3.The proposed changes are presented below in highlight and underline (insertion) and strikethrough (deletion).
