TEAM,
WELL, IT’S TO HARD TO BELIEVE THE END OF THE REGULAR SEASON IS NEAR, YIKES, THAT WAS FAST. CONGRATS TO ALL LEVELS AS THEY ALL HAD ANOTHER SEASON OF SUCCESS THAT FEATURED MANY HIGHS AND LOWS. THANKS TO ALL PLAYERS AND COACHES FOR YOUR HARDWORK AND DEDICATION THOUGHOUT IT’S DURATION.
SUMMER: Due to a number of players committing late to our summer teams, rosters are under construction and will be posted by pm Tuesday May 9th. This is causing me a big headache because 14 players did not tell me their plans until the last few days, which caught me by surprise. Therefore, I now must find a way to make this work and as to how- not sure, but I will find a way. Players and Parents, this why I asked 3 -4 weeks ago to please let me know so that we didn’t face the issue that now lies. I usually schedule 4 teams but this year I only scheduled 3 teams because as of April 1 we only had enough for 3 teams. The 16U that currently exist is being filled by one of our feeder programs, which I allowed because we never have had a 16U, so I went on ahead and allowed to fill the vacant spot. I do know that they will be looking for 3-4 players to fill the roster. If you are asked then you may choose to participate, you have my permission.
I have posted the summer schedule and paperwork that details more information. The cost per level is as follows: 18U - $900, 17U - $900, 16U - $700, 15U A - $700, 15U B - $700
There will be a Mandatory Parent, Player and Coach Meeting on Wednesday May 17th, 6pm at Brighton Heritage HS Auditorium.
SNAP-RAISE FUNDRAISER: A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL PLAYERS, PARENTS, BOARD MEMBERS, AND OF COURSE THIS WONDERFUL COMMUNITY FOR GREAT SNAPRAISE FUNDRASIER. PART OF THE PROBLEM OR PART OF THE SOLUTION?:

~ 10 THOUGHTS TO BECOMING A WINNER ~
1.Hustle at all times. Show you love to play.
2. Love to compete. Don’t back down from challenges.
3. Have an undying confidence in themselves, their coaches, and their teammates - especially in times of adversity. Don’t be a front-runner.
4. Take responsibility for their own self-direction. Don't make excuses.
5. Aren’t satisfied with succeeding some of the time, and don’t let short-term failure defeat them. Remember this, Success is not final – and failure is not fatal!
6. Present an image that reflects well on them, their team, and their university - and that image is not imitation but reflects the real person.
7. Follow the rules of the team consistently and without questioning. Don’t cheat and look for short cuts. Do it the hard way…because that will be more rewarding in the end!
8. Exhibit strong loyalty to their teammates, coaches, and university.
9. Develop their God-given talent to the fullest. Dedication and commitment.
10. Don’t tolerate anyone on our team that doesn’t abide by, and believe in, this philosophy.
