WEBSITE: is being revamped and will be online soon, meanwhile the old one is still in operation.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: are particularly relevant and celebrated each Sunday of Lent at 4.00pm. Our Confirmation Group will lead us on 22nd February and our First Holy Communion Group on 1st March. On Wednesdays of Lent (starting 25th February) Mass will be at midday followed by a simple lunch in the hall in aid of CAFOD. Please sign the list in the church porch to help with the lunches. Fridays of Lent, Mass is celebrated with Morning Prayer of the church. Please give thought now to when you will make your Easter duties which requires every Catholic make Confession at least once a year, at Easter or thereabouts. The town Penitential Service will be held here on Monday 30th March at 7.30pm.

CHRISTIAN UNITY: thank you for all who supported “getting to know you” at St. Christopher’s Church. Our next talk and tour is at St Francis’, to meet with Anglicans on Tuesday 24th February 7.30pm. The next session is on Saturday 28th February at 6.30pm in Wigmore Church. All welcome & encouraged to come.

THANK YOU: Dominic would like to say a very big thank you to the 12 Servers who went to Westminster Cathedral last Saturday for the Annual Altar Servers Mass. Thank you also to the parents who attended and for all their help and support. Also a very big thanks you to two parishioners who helped us with travel arrangements to London. Once again thank you all.

LUTON FOOKBANK: would like to thank everyone for their continuing support and generosity it is very much appreciated by all their volunteers. The need is still increasing and numbers increase particularly during school holidays.

STAINED GLASS: We need to find £765 to finish paying for the new Pentecost window and then we can complete the new brass memorial plaque. Donations over £500 can be made in memory of someone or family you wish to commemorate & have memorialised on the brass plaque, outside the Sacristy.

LUTON IRISH FORUM: in partnership HUNGER will be shown at 6.00pm Tuesday 3rd March at the Hat Factory, Bute St with guest speaker and Irish Post film critic Stephen Martin. Sunday 14th March 7.30pm at UK Centre for Carnival Arts, St Mary’s Rd production of ‘The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley’ a comedy staged by Leitrim Drama Group, The Acorn Players.
