Dear Parents or Guardians of Sixth Level Students:

For West Ridge students please make checkpayable to PARK RIDGE BOARD OF EDUCATION and for East Brook students please make checkpayable to EAST BROOK STUDENT ACTIVITIES FUND. Please send it to the school by Monday, April 3, 2017.Please bring all paperwork and checks to Mr. Mazzacca or Mrs. Fliesser.

In order for our trip to arrive at Camp Bernie on time, please arrive to the RidgemontACME located on Kinderkamack Road at 8:00 am on Wednesday May 31st. Students will return to the Sulac Field parking lot between 2:00 - 2:30 pm on Friday June 2nd.

The following clothing and equipment is recommended. It is suggested that students use what they already have, or borrow, rather than purchase new items only for this trip.

PERSONAL HYGIENE: 2-3 bath towels, washcloth, laundry bag, toilet articles, which include toothbrush, tooth paste and soap.

CLOTHING: 2 or 3 pairs of jeans, 4 or 5 shirts or blouses, light jacket or sweatshirt, pajamas, 5-7 pair of underwear, rain gear, sneakers and another pair of sturdy shoes, 6 or 7 pairs of socks, flip-flops for the shower, and an old pair of sneakers for water sports.

BEDDING: 1 pillow and pillowcase (if desired), 2 blankets, 1 sheet or the student may use a sleeping bag if preferred.

OPTIONIONAL ITEMS: Swim suits (Slip and Slide-weather permitting), inexpensive cameras and film, fishing tackle, athletic equipment such as gloves, softballs, rubber balls, 1 or more books for personal reading, flashlight, sun block, and bug spray.

MONEY: All necessary costs will be taken care of with money provided by parents and the Board of Education. No additional money is actually needed by any student. Candy, souvenirs, etc., will be available at camp for purchase. Students will be expected to take care of their own money and any other valuables brought to camp.

PACKING: Please pack all clothing and equipment in a duffel bag, backpack or suitcase. Trunks are not to be used. Your child’s name should be securely attached or imprinted on the outside of all pieces of luggage.

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED THE USE OF I PODS, CELL PHONES,HANDHELD VIDEO GAMES, RADIOS, RECORDERS, HEADPHONES, ETC. NOR WILL THE CABINS PERMIT THE USE OF ELECTRIC HAIR DRYERS.
