RISE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM DEADLINE: 2/10

·  The Rise Scholarship Foundation (Rise stands for Rewarding Individual Success in Education). The aim of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students with learning disabilities

·  To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be a high school senior who is planning on going to a college or university next year

·  As this scholarship aims to help students with learning disabilities, studentsmust have a documented LD(a diagnosis of ADD or ADHD does not quality a student). To be eligible, students must also have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).

·  Students must submit a letter of recommendation (from a teacher, guidance counselor, or principal), a recent photo with the student’s name on the back, and a high school transcript

·  The New York Chapter of the American Logistics Association sponsors up to 15 $5,000 scholarships for dependent children of active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who hold valid Exchange & Commissary shopping privileges at the time of application.
