Description / Bequests:
-  to son John Timewell £15 to be paid at the end of one week after testator’s death
-  to daughter Mary, wife of John Physick, £10 to be paid at the end of one week after testator’s death ‘for which her receipt shall be a discharge notwithstanding her coverture’
-  to William Derry and Richard Dingley, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns for ever ’in exercise of all an every powers in me vested either by the Surrender and my admission or by the Appointment to me or by any other mean’ the testator’s shop, dwelling house stalls, standings and all appurtenances in Launceston borough; also all other messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments ‘wheresoever situate’ with appurtenances; all other monies, securities for money, goods, chattels and effects, in trust, to convert into money and invest the ‘produce therof’ with that part of estate that consists of money into Government or real securities at interest; the dividends and annual income to be paid to testator’s wife Honor Timewell for her life and her own use as long as she remains a widow; immediately after wife’s death or marriage, one half of the principal money to be invested for daughter Mary, wife of John Phisick, the other half to be invested ‘as before mentioned’; the annual interest to be paid to testator’s son John Timewell for his life ‘but so that he may not anticipate the same’; after his death the principal to be paid ‘amongst the children of John Timewell ‘in such shares as he may direct in his will; if no such directions exist, then to be shared among the children as tenants in common, sons to inherit at 21, daughters at 21 or on their marriage, with benefit of survivorship, provided that the trustees will use the income from this trust after the death of testator’s son John, for the maintenance and education of his children during their minorities, and may use any part of the money for their ‘advancement in the world’; no child shall be entitled to any portion of the unappointed fund without accounting for his or her shares, if any, provided that the trustees appointed shall not be responsible for more than ‘shall come to their hands nor for any involuntary loss’; they may reimburse themselves all costs and expenses out of the trust estate
