GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS Would any people be willing to help with watching to see that our parish (priest!) conforms to the new regulations? There are special instruction days (one and a half hours) either in Blessed John H Newman Church at 7pm on Wednesday 10 October or in St Vincent’s Presbytery, Altrincham at 1.30pm on Friday October 19. Anyone is welcome to attend but please let Fr Elder know if you are willing. It involves mostly dealing with ensuring that people’s personal info the parish has on file or on lists is safeguarded.

TALKING OF WHICH it is apparent that we have many newcomers worshipping in St Winefride’s, and it is hoped that you feel welcome. If you live in Lymm or High Legh, or even if you don’t but you attend church here, please would you register by completing one of the pink forms on the windowsill in the church porch, and placing it in the pink box. Information thus gathered will be used strictly in keeping with the new GDPR guidelines, but it is extremely useful for parish administration. Many thanks.
